100 SEXIEST MOMENTS
As a kind of follow up to Matt Duggins blog ive decided to do a kind of pre-vote to the new 100 sexiest moments which is gonna be on TV soon. For those who didn’t see the 100 scariest moments it was advertised afterwards. The pre-vote will be for the top 10 only. Please note that this is not to include pornography and only the moments seen on TV and cinema. Here are mine:

10. that bird getting out of the sea in doctor no
9. When Ginger Spices tit fell out at the Brit Awards.
8. That seen in Monsters Ball where Halle Berre has sex with the guard who had recently flipped the switch on the electric chair that had her husband in it. smooth
7. the scene in hackers where Angelina joe lee runs into the main actors bedroom unzips her top flashing her breasts!!!!!
6. The general appearance of Sharan stone naked in basic instinct.
5. The lesbo scene in American pie 2 with the two women (funnily enough). Mmmmmm
4. the scene in wild things where the main actor gets it on with neve cambell and another attractive lady. I think they poor champers over each other.
3. that scene in cruel intentions where sarah michelle geller kisses that girl . LESBO AHOY!!! (do you see a trend here?)
2. The scene in the fifth element as the ultimate being destined to save the earth is in fact revealed to be a very naked milla jovovich.
1. When that foreign girl nadia gets her kit of in American Pie

Well There ya go.I now expect you all to input your own little list. Rest assured I know pretty much who reads this blog and if you don’t you shall be badgered.

RATHERGOOD
Just thought I`d make you all aware of a wicked web-site which ive been looking at called rathergood.com. Really original and hilariously funny animation. You may have seen some of their previous work on TV where they animated a bunch of kittens to sing the white stripes. PURE GENIOUS. I ve put the link in the links page go have a look.

DJ GAZ TEARING UP THE PLACE
Well I suppose I should write a little about Friday night. I arrived at the venue about 8.30 with my professional roadie (death) who had kindly offered his skills to help me set up and carry my bits and pieces which basically consisted of:

2X turntables (Vestax PDX 2000 in white)
1X Numark three channel mixer
1X bag of leads
1X set of head phones
2X bags of records one filled with electro and one filled with breaks

I headed up the stairs only to find the place was rammed to the hilt wall to wall and I could barely get through. I finaly battled my way to the front to set up. The guy who was organising it turns round and says that he has a few problems with underage drinkers. It came apparent that a few underage drinkers had been let in downstairs and ordered a few beers. The infortunate part came about when their parents then came in and busted them! Apparently they caused a big hullabaloo and the bands had to be shut down. BUT….i could carry on for the rest of the night. the reason why I could continue but the band couldn’t was something to do with licensing laws surrounding DJS and bands. Apparently their different. Anyway their I am all set up and very nervous I might add. Not that I should have been to nervous cos once the bands finished all the metal fans left leaving about 10 people (if that) in the room. I started mixing. It was all over the place. Mixed another it was all over the place. What was happening was that the speakers in the room where positioned in such away to give about a quarter of a second delay between what was coming out of my head phones and what was coming out of the speakers this made mixing incredibly difficult and very frustrating. I was finding that I was dropping in tunes that where perfectly in time according to me but as soon as it came ouyt the speakers was all over the place!!!
Still it was an experience. And gave me a taste of mixing at a venue. Next time I shall deffinately get some monitor speakers so theres no chance of any delay or echo. I also want to thank my friends for coming along and supporting me.

THANX EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!

LOVE GAZ XXXX

SHITTING IT FURTHER
I spent last night doing a bit more practise. I think I`m making too big a deal about this though after all , as my girlfriend pointed out, I`m not an act just there to fill in the silence. I think trying to put together a set will just make me more nervous. I reckon I`m just gonna go with the flow and pick out tunes as I go along. It`ll probably come together that way. It won`t really matter if I fuck up the occasional mix. Also reuban will beable to help me out. IT LL BE FINE!

THREE DAYS TO GO
Well three days to go before I DJ this Friday for the first time. Last night I worked out the first three tracks for my set. As I discussed before it’s a pain in the arse trying to mix this warp records style music but I seem to be getting there. The beats can be perfectly in time but the tunes are so crazy that you can find that theres just too much going on for it to sound good. Theres no going up to your decks and thinking RIGHT THEN I FEEL LIKE SPINNING THIS TRACK TO START WITH and approaching the whole thing hap hazardly like you could get away doing with breaks or electro clash. You have to sit down and carefully work out what would sound good with what and where your gonna fade it out and where your gonna drop it in. So far here is what I have.

1 PLAID
born droid

2 LUKE VIBERT
Synthax

2 LUKE VIBERT
I love acid

The first track has a really wonderful haunting vocal to start with which then kicks in with this kicking mad beat. The vocal goes on for ages before the beats kick in so I can really see people being drawn into it. Again most of these can be heard on the warp web site if your curious. The link is to the left. I ordered The new LFO album entitled SHEATH. Fingers crossed it should be with me tomorrow. I intend to include the track FREAK on the set somewhere (again I recommend listening to this at the warp web site it is well cool).

SUPER STAR DJ
Well then here we go. I had a call off this mate of my girlfriends last night to confirm that I was Djing at this charity gig at the apple tree this Friday. I ve agreed to do it but in all honesty am absolutely bricking it. Ive got to DJ between 2 bands and the for an hour and a half after the gigs. Shit I don`t think ive even got enough records to cover that amount of time. Hopefully rueban will beable to share the work load but its not deffinate. Did I mention I`m shitting it ? I think that the order of the week will be hard practise for at least three hours every evening.
